4 months.. almost

Yesterday I looked at the calendar and realized Brandon is almost 4 months old... wow. You never fully understand the meaning of "how time flies" until you have children.

Green grass is now white grass

Woke up to snow today! Ryan was SO excited and asked if we could build a snowman. We didn't have quite enough snow to do that.. but had I been off today, I would have done my best!

Friends

What am I talking about? COFFEE, of course!!! A sugar free vanilla soy extra hot latte, to be exact. Just in case you're wondering or feel generous.

Sleep is NOT overrated

Can a 2 month old baby sense when you REALLY want them to go back to sleep? I'm wondering because Brandon seems to know when I have to get up at 5:30am and picks those nights to wake up 3 or more times... Is it that he wants to spend more time with mommy knowing she has to go to work the next day? Thank God for Starbucks..

Mind over matter

Freezing temperatures, rain, snow and hail couldn't keep Brett from finishing the Pikes Peak Ascent in 3 hours 38 minutes. He finished 257th (overall) and 219th (men).

Here is Brett with our friend Judd. Judd's wife Lisa and I drove up the mountain to retrieve our husbands but were stuck 13 miles up due to weather. After they plowed the road we headed back down and waited in Manitou Springs. Thankfully we ran into Brett shortly after (still shivering with blue lips) we arrived in Manitou. Some kind strangers had given him a ride down from the top.

When one is not enough..

Life with one amazing little boy was wonderful and life with two is even better! Brandon is a happy and healthy little guy. He's smiling now and loves it when you talk to him. Ryan is a great big brother. He loves to help burp the baby and he's quick to point out a "p-u stinky" diaper.
